Altenar attended this year’s GAT Expo as visiting delegates to network with our current and future clients and understand their vision for the booming LatAm market. The region is a huge focus for us and as one of its leading sportsbook providers, attending the event was hugely beneficial as it enabled us to speak with other industry experts about Altenar’s innovative, state-of-the-art software and services.
This year, the event changed venue to a much bigger space, Las Américas Convention Center in Cartagena de Indias, Columbia, which was more spacious. The overall quality was significantly higher and the exhibition plan was more diverse, offering an engaging and informative experience.
Altenar was delighted to be offered a speaking slot, where sales manager Diego Salas discussed the fundamentals of having an online operation. We shared the difference between a player account management (PAM) system and sportsbook software with delegates, and explained how both of these work together for a streamlined online and retail operation. In our 15-minute slot, we received strong engagement and extremely positive feedback.
In a digital-first world, Altenar has certainly observed a growing demand for online and mobile gaming and continues to release new features and tools to enable our operators to increase player engagement and stay at the forefront of innovation. We are constantly improving when it comes to the sportsbook software and services, giving better quality products to current and new customers.
Taking away learnings from the event, we can expect to see the LatAm landscape shaped by increased legislation and regulation, with a focus on responsible gaming, along with technological advancements and market consolidation and expansion.
