Madrid, July 10, 2023.- Codere, a leading multinational in the private gaming sector, announces the appointment of Gonzaga Higuero as CEO of the group, in charge of leading the new stage of the company.
Gonzaga Higuero, who has held the position of CEO at Health Transportation Group -the second largest health transport service provider in Europe- since 2018, leading the process of refinancing, turn around and acquisition of the company by a new shareholder in 2021, and the growth plan of the group in the last two years, now assumes this new challenge at Codere
With an outstanding previous career at Prosegur, Gonzaga Higuero held various management positions during his 15 years in the group, including general manager for Latin America South, general manager for EMEA and the Pacific of Prosegur Cash, and general manager for Europe. Previously, he also held various positions in the Carrefour Group.

Gonzaga Higuero joins the Codere Group team, contributing his valuable knowledge and experience to continue consolidating the company’s leadership position in all its markets and boosting the group’s growth through the development of new businesses and the online project.
